MAYOR’S APPROACH DRIVING BEST TEACHERS OUT OF CITY SCHOOLS

New York City – Tonight on NY 1’s "The Road to City Hall” Mayor Bloomberg’s Senior Campaign Adviser William Cunningham said Rep. Anthony Weiner should be “ashamed of himself” for questioning school test score results announced yesterday.

The Weiner campaign released the following statement:

"First Klein and now Cunningham,” said Weiner campaign spokesman Anson Kaye. “It seems that team Bloomberg gets pretty testy when Congressman Weiner stands up for better schools. Perhaps they should focus on the kids, our schools and teachers."
