Dear Friend,

This is an incredibly exciting time for our campaign!  We are now in the month-long petitioning season. 

This is our chance to flex our organizational muscle, reach out to all New Yorkers, and engage them in our campaign to put a Mayor in City Hall who will fight for the middle class and those struggling to get there. 

In order to get on the ballot every candidate in this race must gather thousands of signatures from registered voters in New York City.  

Over the years I have spent many days petitioning on the streets of New York City, sometimes for myself or for another candidate, but always for the issues important to the majority of New Yorkers.

Petitioning will be a great step in our campaign to take back City Hall.  I have been waiting for this opportunity to involve all of you in our campaign and in the democratic process. 

Please join me and sign up to volunteer as soon as you can.  Only through our hard work can we give this city the right leadership that it deserves.
